Who can use Chicknz
An adult parent or guardian creates the account. Kids use the app inside that family with PIN access; they don't sign up separately. You're responsible for the kids in your family and the content they create.
Beta status
Chicknz is in beta and free while it is. Features can change, move, or get pulled if they aren't working. We'll give reasonable notice before removing anything you depend on.
What you own
You own the chores, rewards, schedules, photos, journals, and stories your family creates inside Chicknz. We hold a limited license to display them back to you and run the features you turned on (rotation suggestions, weekly summaries, etc.). We do not sell your data.
Acceptable use
Don't upload illegal content, attack the service, scrape other families' data, or impersonate anyone. We can suspend accounts that do.
AI features
Some features (chore parsing, weekly summaries, stories, homework extraction) are produced by an AI model. AI output can be wrong. Treat its suggestions as drafts you can edit, not facts. The privacy page covers what we do and don't send to AI providers.
No warranty, no liability for indirect damages
Chicknz is provided "as is." We don't promise it'll be perfect or always available. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect damages (lost profits, lost family vibes, etc.). Direct liability, if any, is capped at what you paid us, which during beta is zero.
Ending the agreement
You can delete your account anytime from the dashboard or by emailing hello@chicknz.app. We can end the agreement if you breach these terms. Either way, deletion is permanent.
Changes to these terms
If we change anything material, we'll bump the "last updated" date and surface a notice in-app. Continuing to use Chicknz after that means you accept the new version.
